From the main windows , Add ou modify a save operation definition

A configuration file can include few lines of operation. Each operation is configured through this form

It includes:

•Α Name to be displayed in the top area

•Α Type save or synchronization

Source: The source folder to sauve, (See also variables)

•Included file mask: masks of the files to include in the backup

Excluded File mask : masks of the files to exclude

•Excluded folder : list of the folder not to backup

Destination: thefolder where to save your files. (voir aussi variables)

Save the subfolders: Check or not the box

Check after each copy: Check or not the box

Delete when the source disappear .

Reset of the readonly attribute Check or not the box

Compression: no by default.

•The option Ignore a shift of 1 hour exactly correct the problem of daylight hour change every 6 months

•The option Ignore a shift of 2 seconds is if you use also the explorer to copy file, it often produce a mistake of 2 seconds

•The option display only the errors Check or not the box

Global options for the whole configuration file with every lines :

the option write a log file, copy simultaneously to the display console and in the log file with the namesavYearMonthDay.txt in the subfolder "journaux" of savdisk installation folder, there is at most one file per day

•The option color log store at the exit of savdisk a copy of the console message in a .rtf file readable in color under wordpad or word a file of  name savYear_Month_Day_hourMinite

The option force the copy even the older files will copy a file with a size or a date different from the destination even if the source is older than the destination. From few month, I have some problems with backup on network, the date being not correctly copied randomly. If you have this type of problem, this can help you. But be carefully, it cans cause trouble too. If you copy an older file in your  source folder, it will override the destination file even older.
