Command line
SavDisk can be used in command line mode using these syntax's:
SavDisk "file_configuration.sav"
SavDisk "file_configuration.sav" start
SavDisk "file_configuration.sav" StartStop
SavDisk "file_configuration.sav" StartDown
SavDisk "file_configuration.sav" StartStop noMessage
SavDisk "file_configuration.sav" StartStop print
SavDisk "file_configuration.sav" restaure
SavDisk "file_configuration.sav" RestaureStop
SavDisk "file_configuration.sav" verif
SavDisk "file_configuration.sav" VerifStop
The file "file_configuration.sav" is loaded instead of the last used configuration file.
The other qualifiers :
•«start», «StartStop»,«StartDown» : The save command is automatically executed
•«restaure, |«RestaureStop: The restore command is automatically executed
•«verif, |«VerifStop: The check command is automatically executed
With StartStop, RestaureStop, VerifStop The program automatically exit at the end of the execution, and any Message box is not displayed, except the deletion confirmation. To avoid it, select always or never in the configuration
With StartDown, the P.C. is shutdown at the end of the backup
You can save the messages through the log. This log is printed with the print qualifier in the .
You can use this command line in a batch file (.bat) or using the windows background task manager.
- In the system tools, start it.
- Add a task using the browser button to select the savdisk.exe program
- Check the box advanced properties or select the savedisk link and click on properties in the context menu
- In the area execute, complete the line
double clic on .sav You can associate the .sav extension to the SavDisk application to load it on double click on it.
